Rounding up the best Canadian Youth Pastors
A 3 day Summit to plan and collaborate around your next season of youth ministry. Connecting you with leading voices, fellow practitioners and most importantly Jesus: the One who called you to serve this generation in the first place.
Come along to help shape the future of youth ministry in Canada.
Hello Friends,
We hope you have had a wonderful Summer and that your preparation for the ministry year ahead is going well.
We wanted to send you an update on behalf of the teams behind the Canadian Youth Pastor Summits (CCLN & YWC). The last 2 years we have had the privilege of hosting over 400 youth pastors for our Summits, leaning in together to grow in friendship, ministry skills, and a love for Jesus and His Church. The impact of these days with each other was deeply encouraging and our teams want to continue to invest in Youth Pastors through initiatives like this.
That said, for the Fall of 2024 and Winter of 2025, we won’t be hosting the Summits in Vancouver or Mississauga (and sadly this isn’t a fun setup to announce a new location!). This decision was primarily related to our teams’ capacity and other ministry projects for the year ahead.
However, this doesn’t mean the Summits are gone forever, we just know we won’t be doing them this year. Both our YWC and CCLN teams have a number of other ministry initiatives on the go that we would love to invite you into in the meantime. You can see more below.

For the
sake of a generation
We are calling on…
Youth Pastors who long to see a generation alive in Jesus;
On those who don’t need to be known, as long as He is;
On those who won’t shy away from the challenges and the odds;
On those who see what God’s doing in Canada and want to join in it;
We are calling on you… for the sake of a generation.
Come with your challenges. Leave with a plan.
We know that events like these can sometimes feel like a firehose of “do better” and “do differently.” Session after session the to-do list grows, but when you get home, you don’t always know what to do first. Soon enough, the weekly tasks take priority again and you’re stuck working in the ministry and not on it. That’s why at the Summit we won’t just talk your ears off each session, but we’ll create real space for you to put pen to paper so you can go home with a plan to action. We’re here to make sure the families of your church experience your biggest takeaways.
Build ministry friendships for a lifetime.
What if the next time your sermon flopped or you got that unwelcomed weekly email, you had new friends to call who just got it? The task of pastoring can sometimes feel like a solo-sport, but it doesn’t have to. The Summit is a space where new ministry friendships begin; friendships that encourage you in the lows, celebrate with you in the highs and spur you on in the moments between. And let’s be honest… Canada needs more than just one good youth pastor. But a group of youth pastors linking arms? That could change the future.
Fall more deeply in love with Jesus and youth ministry.
Your passion is waning. The new ideas aren’t coming, at least not like they used to. It feels like you’re running on reserves. You’re seeing more setbacks with the people you lead than steps forward. Sometimes this is just what it feels like to pastor. If that’s you, we want to meet you there. At the Summit, we’ll move beyond technique to the matters of your heart. We’re here to help you rediscover or reignite your vision, and to help you set your eyes on the One who called you to this in the first place.
What Youth Pastors are saying…
I had typed out a resignation letter and it was on my computer for months, just waiting. Attending conferences like the Summit is what fills me and keeps me going.
– Eric, Youth Pastor
I registered for the Summit just because I saw an Instagram post, but it feels like the Lord brought me here. This whole time, I have just felt so incredibly seen and ministered to.
– Briana, Youth Pastor
Last year I attended a city wide rally with many different youth groups, and I only knew one other Youth Pastor outside my church. After the Summit, I attended the same rally and could not begin to count the number of other youth pastors who I knew by name. I left being reminded that I am known and belong to a community.
– Kara, Youth Pastor
Only for you, the Youth Pastor
This is all designed exclusively for the point leaders of Canadian Youth Ministries. This means, at the Summit, you’ll find a community of people who really get it. You’ll find Youth Pastors just like you.
